Looking for an economy two star hotel where they provide for all your basic needs plus a little extra? Well, a good candidate would be Casa Pacifica in Boracay. As one might expect, the rates here aren't that steep and the resort is decent enough to bring your entire family. Don't expect anything luxurious though but do expect services to suit your taste and a friendly staff that is more than willing to help you with anything.
The resort itself is pretty simple yet it carries with it that native Filipino spunk for cleanliness. The garden is well kept along with the entire surroundings. Like many of the resorts on the island of Boracay, the furnishings take on a native look using wood and bamboo. The entire place is well ventilated and you get to breathe the natural fresh air of the island.
Services and Amenities
The staff manning this little budget resort is no less serviceable. They can arrange sea transport for guests leaving the island, water sport activities, boat trip island tours, laundry, massage, manicure and pedicure, and they can even cook and baby sit for you when you need it. The people in Casa Pacifica embody that warm hospitality that Filipinos are known for. They also have a safety deposit in case you might be wondering.
The rooms in this establishment are quite alright, pretty basic, nothing fancy, but everything you see is clean and completely functional. Basic needs like hot and cold showers, a double bed, and cable TV are all in there. Take note that there are two types of rooms offered in this little hotel. They have air conditioned rooms and non air conditioned rooms.
You should expect the air conditioned rooms to be a bit pricier compared to non air conditioned rooms, obviously. However, the rates here aren't really steep, which is perfect if you're on a budget. The rates range from Php 1,000 to Php 2,000 during the lean season, around September to November.
Prices go a bit higher during the peak season, December all the way to May, ranging from Php 2,000 to Php 3,500. The months just after the peak season, June to August, will bring the rates down a bit from Php 1,500 to Php 2,500. Do take note that the hotel management of Casa Pacifica requires guests to pay a 50% deposit, which is non-refundable.
The resort is located in Angol in Boracay, which is a bit closer to Station 3. It's situated on a quieter section of the island. Places like Ole Tapas Bar, D'Mall, Bamboo Lounge, and other bars and restaurants are a bit of a distance away. You can walk to the nightlife centers or hop on a tricycle.
