Hannah Hotel in Boracay is one of the resorts and hotels on the island that clearly wants to make a superb lasting impression in the minds of its guests. First off, the decor and the entire hotel itself is truly a work of art. Paintings line up along the walls casting various images to delight the eye.
Sea shells, bamboos, and other native materials are used to adorn a lot of the stuff you see inside and outside your room, giving you that tropical island feel. The cogon roofing is a nice touch. It makes you feel like you're in a hut thus completing a would-be rustic escape from the insanities of urban living.
Some people obviously get a kick out of the Japanese-like sliding doors. It's a nice room feature that completes the tropical appeal of the place. The lobby is pretty basic but it's super functional with a nice huge mural on the wall. One thing that makes this place really great is that the staff attends to guests like clockwork. They provide welcome drinks and breakfasts on a daily basis but no room service.
They really try to make their service as professional and as personal as it can be. You ask for something that you need then the staff will more than willing to help you. If you need to know where to go, a good party place at night, arrange some water activities, or get something you need taken cared of then they'll help you with it. Another plus is the fact that the hotel owners are usually around to actually get to know the guests and attend to their needs. With all of that said, this hotel deserves a two-star rating.
If you want to describe the rooms using the simplest terms then "rustic" and "tropical" would match the place perfectly. You have a lamp inside the room designed using indigenous materials, which basically adds to the general theme of the hotel. The bamboo bed also adds to the room's general appeal. The rooms are air conditioned and you also get a TV. The floors are tiled, which adds to the cozy feel you get by simply walking into them.
The standard accommodations in Hannah Hotel in Boracay include round-trip airport transfers. The rates in this hotel start at Php 4,760. However, do take note that the said room rates may change over time.
