Kiteboarding has become one of the most sought-after water activities for both locals and tourists enjoying the beaches of the island of Boracay. Since its introduction to the island some ten years ago, kiteboarding has gained a steady following.

Location
 
Hangin Kiteboarding is located along the northern end of Bulabog Beach. Bulabog Beach on the other hand is located on the eastern section of Boracay. It is a few minutes’ walk to D’Mall as well as the White Beach area of the island.
 
Getting There
 
You can easily walk to from the Main Road to the beach path where Hangin Kiteboarding is located.
 
On the other hand, if you will be coming directly from the port in Boracay which is the Cagban jetty port, there are tricycles that you can readily take which will drive you directly to the kite-surfing school and shop.
 
What to See and Do
 
Bulabog Beach is known as the kiteboarding and windsurfing section of the island. With Hangin Kiteboarding, you can rent your equipment for this water sport, learn how to kiteboard, go on a kite safari to Siko Island, or take advanced courses in kiteboarding.
 
On the other hand, if you have had the experience of kiteboarding in the past but have not done so in a long time, Hangin Kiteboarding also offers refresher courses to help you get back in the game.
 
You can also avail of one of their packages where you can do kiteboarding and stay in one of their modest rooms after you’ve had your kiteboarding adventure for the day.
 
About Hangin Kiteboarding
 
It was in the year 2002 when Green Yard Funboard Center, a premier windsurf center in the island, introduced kiteboarding to Boracay. It is in this same year that Hangin Kiteboarding was founded.
 
From the introduction of the first kite-surf school and shop in Boracay which incidentally is Hangin Kiteboarding, several other competitors have sprung like around Bulabog Beach which then earned for this beach the title of kiteboarding beach of Boracay.
 
The company’s aim is to provide the best kiteboarding experience and equipment to guests visiting the island of Boracay.
 
Cost
 
Hangin Kiteboarding costs vary depending on whether you will be getting rentals, availing of the Kite Safari package or one of its holiday packages.
 
Kite rentals cost about €30 up to €210 depending on the duration: half day, one day or five days. Board rentals on the other hand cost about €18 up to €115 again depending on the duration: half day, one day or five days.
 
Kite Safaris cost €150 for two days and €190 for three days.
 
Discover Kiteboarding costs €40 for two hours; Day Courses cost €100; 2-Day Courses cost €190 while Full Courses Levels 1-2 cost €275 for three to four days.
 
Advanced Courses Level 3 cost €135 while Supervised Kiting and Refresher Courses cost €50 for one hour.
 
Packages that include kiteboarding, accommodations, roundtrip airfares range from €530 up to €625 for four days and three nights.
 
Other Information
 
Kiteboarding season usually starts in November and lasts until about the middle of March.
